Video: Recorded Auditions

Singers are strongly encouraged to do a live audition. You may send a high-quality VHS/DVD recording if you live more than 400 km from the audition site and are not performing a live audition.

All applicants for the conductor internships must send a VHS/DVD recording of a recent performance to be considered for acceptance.

I also understand that Opera on the Avalon reserves the right to dismiss students who have submitted false or misleading information in the application process. If accepted as a student of Opera on the Avalon, I agree to abide by Opera on the Avalon guidelines and regulations. Participants are expected to comport themselves with basic standards of honesty and character. Failure to follow these rules and guidelines can result in a participant?s dismissal from OOTA without refunding any part of the fees paid. The applicant consents to the creation and distribution of any recording, broadcast, or electronic transmission of any kind, without compensation, made by OOTA or any OOTA-approved entities while he/ she is a participant at OOTA. The applicant similarly consents to the use of his/her likeness in photographs, video, or any visual media created and distributed by OOTA or OOTA approved entities. I understand a non-refundable tuition deposit ($500 or balance of tuition) is required by the due date in the acceptance letter.
