Carmen Audition

Thank you tp those of you who have submitted applications for our production of Carmen. We are reopening this application due to the high number of applicants who inquired after the September deadline. Singers who have already submitted applications will be given first priority for any role appropriate but singers who have not applied are encouraged to do so for consideration.

The only roles cast are Carmen and Escamillo but all other roles are open for consideration. Covers with rehearsal time will also be used when appropriate.

We will also now be considering singers for a Valentine's Day Opera Gala, A production of Venus and Adonis by Zachary Wadsworth and a summer opera festival of one act operas. Singers who apply will be considered for all roles in all productions which would be appropriate for their voice and level of experience. For consideration, please submit a performance resume, a recent headshot, a recent recording of 2-3 arias of contrasting styles and languages in the original language that best display your vocal ability, and a $25 application/audition fee.

Materials will be accepted via YAPTRACKER ONLY. Information sent via email, fax or standard mail will not be reviewed.
