Garsington Opera is auditioning for the 2018 Alvarez Young Artist Programme. As well as singing in the chorus, successful applicants will be considered for covers and small roles. Covers will also perform a full main stage performance of Die Zauberflöte for a schools audience. There is also the opportunity to take part in masterclasses, recitals and other enrichment activities.

Strauss Capriccio in German (Conductor: Douglas Boyd, Director: Tim Albery)
Verdi Falstaff in Italian (Conductor: Richard Farnes, Director: Bruno Ravella)
Sawer The Skating Rink in English (Garsington Opera Commission, Conductor: Garry Walker, Director/Designer: Stewart Laing)
Please complete the brief form below to be considered for an audition for chorus and small roles and covers with Garsington Opera in our 2018 season. Questions marked with an asterisk are compulsory.
Contracts will run from roughly 20 April - 22 July 2018; all applicants must be available to work full-time during this period, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Please note we can only accept applications from UK/EU passport holders or those with a full UK working visa (NOT a student visa).
Auditions will be held in September and October 2017 until all chorus slots are filled. Auditions will be held at Rudolf Steiner House (35 Park Rd, London NW1 6XT). Please apply early - we will not wait till the application deadline to start allocating auditions, so the earlier you apply the more likely you are to get a chance to sing to us!
