Opera and ISP (Advanced) applicants

2 operatic arias:

One aria must be be in Italian
One aria must be accompanied by a recitative.
One art song may be substituted for an aria.

SINGERS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN ACCOMPANIST.

Opera Scenes and ISP (Student) applicants

2 operatic arias:

Collaborative Piano and Continuo applicants:

One movement of a piano sonata by Beethoven, Haydn, or Mozart, or a solo work which is representative of middle- or late- Romantic style, and two opera arias, in a collaborative performance with a singer provided by you.

NOTE: OPERA CHORUS APPLICANTS AND ALL NON-CONDUCTING INTERN APPLICANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO AUDITION. Maximum number of selections permitted: 3

SINGERS and COLLABORATIVE PIANISTS are strongly encouraged to do a live audition, especially if they live close to a COSI audition location, but all applications with uploaded audition videos are viable. OPERA COMPOSITION applicants may choose to upload videos to support their application. VIDEO RECORDINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR: All conducting applicants (opera and opera chorus).
